1967 Marathon de la Route 911R

In 1967 the Marathon de la Route was a race that took place at the famous Nurburgring track in Germany.  The track being 17.6 miles long, and race taking place a total 84 hours!  The Porsche team consisted of three drivers that combined completed 323 laps covering 5652 laps at a an average speed of 67 MPH in there Porsche 911R.  The 911R was fearsome in the late 60's winning many races and being competitive with other high-end automotive manufactures like Ferrari and Jaguar.   

This limited edition print celebrates the win the dramatic win of the 911R was driven by Vic Elford, Jochen Neerpasch and Hans Herrmann.
