Ford Le Mans GT40, Artwork - Bachelor Haus

Ford Le Mans GT40

The worlds oldest, and most prestigious car race, 24 Hours of Le Mans, has been held since 1923 in France.  As the title suggests, the cars race for 24 hours, who ever completes the most laps wins.  Each lap is 8.5 miles long, the winning cars often race over 3000 miles or over 300

The Ford GT40 dominated the Le Mans from 1966 to 1969.  A huge win for American sports cars since the last major victory came in 1921 from Duesenberg.  Produced to compete specifically against Ferrari in endurance races, the car did not disappoint.

The "40" is derived from the fact that the car's height is 40 inches from the ground.

The perfect artwork for any guy who appreciates racing history, and Ford.   This Limited Edition artwork of a 1000 units.  Cool artwork for any bachelor pad or home office that will brighten any dull room.
